About Laurel Hill Kennels

Laurel Hill Kennels in Hanover, is a home away from home for your pets! We're located in the Pigeon Hills and have been in business since 1983. Our owner, Melanie Mitchell, lives 50 yards from the kennel with her family so that our customers can vacation without worry. You'll know that your pets are safe and well cared for when you choose us. We also offer grooming for all breeds of dogs by appointment.
Our Caring and Experienced Staff 
Pet Care


Barbara Digby, our kennel manager since 2022, is in charge of the daily operations at the kennel. You can find her most days running the office and answering the phones in between grooming dogs. 
 A graduate of the International Academy of Pet Design, Barb started grooming at the kennel in 2002. She grooms by appointment only.

Julie Miller

Julie Miller, is our primary caregiver, she has been with Laurel Hill Kennels since 2020 and always has your pet's best interests at heart.
